Large Format
Large format wine bottles are preferred by collectors for their superior ageability, primarily due to the reduced surface area of wine in the bottle with respect to the oxygen that slowly seeps in via tiny pores in the cork closure (too much oxygen will spoil a wine and turn it to vinegar, while a small amount of exposure over long period of time will help it mature and develop additional complexity).
