In other wine news, Eater New Orleans reports that a single bottle of The Setting, a 2015 Alexander Valley Cabernet made by winemaker Jesse Katz, sold for $350,000 USD at the Emeril Lagasse Foundation’s Carnival du Vin, shattering the record for the most expensive bottle of wine ever sold at auction.  At the same event, a bottle of Troubadour Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2015 made by Bob Cabral sold for $50,000 USD.  The auction raised over $3,5MM in total, and all proceeds went to children's charities.
