Newly Released 2018s from Meo Camuzet

Based in the heart of Vosne-Romanée, Meo-Camuzet is one of the most hallowed domaines in all of Burgundy, with an astounding fourteen hectares of land in some of the region’s most exceptional vineyards. Now managed by second-generation winemaker Jean-Nicolas Meo, the domaine aims to create the purest possible expressions of its landholdings, and while the wines are often described as delicate and feminine in youth, they possess a paradoxical concentration and intensity that make them ideal for long term aging. The 2018 vintage in Burgundy is shaping up to be one of the region's all-time greats, and Estate Wine Brokers is thrilled to offer three top bottlings from Meo Camuzet at the lowest retail prices in the country:

Domaine Meo Camuzet Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 2018 750ml - $365
93-95 Points Wine Advocate "The 2018 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is also showing very well, exhibiting aromas of sweet wild berries, dried flowers, woodsmoke, blood orange and rich soil tones. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, concentrated and muscular, with an ample chassis of fine tannins, good tension at the core and a long, youthfully chewy finish. (WK)" (01/2020)

Domaine Meo Camuzet Corton Les Perrieres Grand Cru 2018 750ml - $329
92-92 Points Wine Advocate "The 2018 Corton Grand Cru Les Perrières is also a beautiful wine in the making, offering up notes of sweet red berries, cherries, rose petals and espresso roast that's still youthfully primary. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, chalky and incisive, with terrific concentration, fine tannins and a beautifully defined finish. This, too, will require time, but it's less blocky and muscular than the En Rognet. (WK)" (01/2020)

Meo Camuzet Frère et Soeurs Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru 2018 750ml - $269
