93 Points Decanter "The Dominode, which hails from some of the oldest vines in the Côte, is always one of the very best wines in the Clair cellar, and 2016 is no exception. Cropped at a paltry 10hl/ha, the wine offers up a brooding bouquet of wild berries, spice, bitter chocolate and rich earth - as usual it's quite dark-fruited for Savigny. On the palate the wine is very full-bodied, layered and rich, with superb concentration and a cool, solid core of fruit. Like the other Clair wines, this is an uncompromising wine, but patience will be amply rewarded. Drinking Window 2028 - 2050. (WK)" (10/2017)
