Allen Meadows - Burghound 91: "This is almost a mix of the Chapelle and the Latricières with discreet wood spice framing very ripe and earthy small black berry and an interesting hint of kirsch notes that give way to supple, forward and surprisingly accessible medium full flavors that deliver real punch and complexity on the long plum and mocha-infused finish. This isn't a great Chambertin but it's certainly pretty and satisfying if not exactly typical." (1/2006)
